Sovereign AI
Sovereign AI Roundtable
Most organisations don't lose control of their data all at once. They lose it one API call at a time, each request quietly sending their most sensitive information to infrastructure they will never see, in a jurisdiction that was never theirs.
For decision-makers in regulated and sovereignty-sensitive sectors, that trade-off has become the central tension of the AI era. The pressure to adopt generative AI is real. So is the obligation to protect the data that runs through it. The Sovereign AI Roundtable exists to address exactly that gap.
One question, one morning
On 16 June, we're bringing together a small group of decision-makers from public administration, regulated industries, critical infrastructure, healthcare, research, and financial services to work through a single question:
How do you adopt generative AI without handing your most sensitive data to infrastructure you don't control?
This isn't a product pitch dressed up as an event. It's a working session built around real architecture, real constraints, and the practical reality of deploying AI inside organisations that cannot afford to get sovereignty wrong.
The format
The afternoon combines three things:
A practitioner keynote on what sovereign AI looks like beyond the slogans. A live on-premise AI demo, showing generative AI running entirely on owned hardware, with no data leaving the building. And a moderated roundtable, where the room itself becomes the discussion: shared problems, shared constraints, and honest answers.
It's deliberately small. The value is in the conversation, not the audience size.
On stage
Johannes Ortloff: Agile Coach, Certified Scrum Master & Consultant at Waldsee Consulting. Johannes speaks on sovereign company asset creation and low-friction knowledge collection: how SMEs can build the data foundation they actually need before putting AI to work. Most AI adoption stalls not on the model, but on the messy, scattered, undocumented knowledge inside the organisation. He addresses that head-on.
Alexander Zehetmaier: Co-Founder & CEO of Xinity. Alexander speaks on what architectural sovereignty actually looks like in production, not as a contractual promise that can be rewritten overnight, but as hardware you own running AI that never leaves your infrastructure. As he puts it: contracts are paper, infrastructure is reality.
Jonas Aaron Vander: Co-Founder & CTO of Xinity. Jonas goes into the stack itself: your hardware, your models, and an OpenAI-compatible API that lets your developers keep the tools they already use while the intelligence runs entirely inside your walls. No vendor lock-in, no data leaving your infrastructure.
Who it's for
The Roundtable is built for senior decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, IT and data leaders) and the regulated organisations they represent: finance, healthcare, public sector, critical infrastructure, and research institutions handling data that is too sensitive, or too regulated, to send to a hyperscaler cloud.
If you're being asked to deliver AI capability while staying compliant with GDPR and the EU AI Act, this is a room of people facing the same problem.
Why it matters now
Sovereignty has stopped being a theoretical concern. Regulated organisations across Europe are actively looking for ways to run AI without surrendering control of their data, and the regulatory ground is shifting underneath them. The conversation has moved from whether sovereign AI matters to how you actually build it.
The Sovereign AI Roundtable is where that "how" gets discussed openly, by the people doing the work.
