WHAT IS THE SOVEREIGN AI LAB?
The Sovereign AI Lab is a monthly meetup in Vienna's 7th district where engineers who are serious about running AI locally get together, get their hands dirty, and share what's actually working in production. If you work at an organisation where sensitive data can't leave the building — healthcare, finance, legal, media, manufacturing — and you're tired of paying hyperscalers for the privilege of losing control of your data, this is your crowd. Every session: bring your laptop, pick up a real problem, leave with something running. We deploy open-source LLMs, work with OpenAI-compatible APIs, and talk through the real engineering challenges of building sovereign AI infrastructure.
